Our business name was inspired by a Mexican artist by the name of Frida Kahlo. During our visits to Mexico in 2017, we noticed a lot of love for Frida Kahlo. There were shops displaying Frida’s art, wallets, t-shirts, jewelry, shoes, memorabilia, anything you could think of inspired by or with Frida’s portraits displayed on them.

 

As we were thinking of a name for our laser hair removal medi spa, we still had Frida Kahlo on our minds. We noticed how she was not only famous for her self-portraits and her art, but also for her facial hair.

 

Here at Frida’s we can help you to be remembered by your beauty and not your facial hair! So we decided to name our medi spa “Frida’s Depilacion y Belleza” (Frida’s Hair Removal and [other] Beauty [services]). For our logo, the name was incorporated in her face outline in the eye region and “depilacion y belleza” was added to the top of the lip to resemble facial hair.
